TopicLingo Privacy Policy & Terms

Last updated: July 29, 2026

TopicLingo is made by Proliferaite. The app is designed to be local-first: it has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server that stores your personal data.

What stays on your device

What the app downloads

The app fetches its daily trending content (read-only JSON) from proliferaite.com. These requests do not include any account identifier — there are no accounts. Standard web-server logs (IP address, timestamp) may be processed by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) to serve the request.

Diagnostics and analytics

Mobile builds use Google Firebase for crash reporting (Crashlytics) and aggregate usage analytics (Firebase Analytics) — for example, how many users complete a daily pack. This telemetry is tied to a random app instance id, not to your identity, and is used solely to fix crashes and improve the app. See Firebase's privacy documentation.

Sharing

The Share features hand text to your device's system share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you choose an app to share to; we never see what you share or with whom.

Advertising

TopicLingo shows a small number of ads served by Google AdMob: at most one interstitial per day after you finish your daily pack, and an optional rewarded ad you can choose to watch to earn a streak freeze. AdMob may process device identifiers to serve and measure ads; where required (EEA/UK) you will be asked for consent before any personalized ads, and you can decline. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses ad data.

Children

TopicLingo is a general-audience app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
